Millstreet Golf Classic took place on Friday April 11th at Killarney Golf & Fishing Club. Over 40 teams teed off in hopes of taking home the Brian McSweeney cup, named in honor of the late Brian McSweeney of Millstreet & Cobh GAA. 

Taking the honours on the day were Team Avonmore, headed up by Tom Flahive, the team of Gerry O’Sullivan, Deirdre & Cian O’Mahony came second with Deirdre also taking home the prize for closest to the pin. Third place went to newcomer golfers Mulcahy’s pharmacy. Denny Twomey takes home the prize for longest drive for the 11th Hole. 

Well done to all! We are truly delighted with the support the day received and the funds raised to maintain the running of Millstreet GAA Club.
